General Policy Overview

Each Moidah Homes listing is assigned a cancellation policy. Once a booking is confirmed, the selected policy applies to that reservation and cannot be changed retroactively.

Cancellation terms are based on how close the cancellation occurs to the scheduled check in date.

Flexible Cancellation

Guests may cancel within the allowed flexible cancellation period to receive a full or partial refund as stated at booking.

Cancellations made closer to the check in date may result in reduced refunds or no refund for reserved nights.

Moderate Cancellation

Moderate cancellation policies allow refunds within a defined timeframe before check in.

Cancellations made after that timeframe may receive a partial refund or no refund, depending on how close the cancellation is to arrival.

Firm Cancellation

Firm cancellation policies apply stricter refund rules. Guests who cancel closer to the check in date may receive limited or no refund.

These policies are typically applied to high demand properties or peak travel periods.

Guest No Shows

If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check in date and does not cancel in advance, the reservation is treated as a no show and is not eligible for a refund.

Host Cancellations

If a host cancels a confirmed reservation, guests receive a full refund for any unused nights. Moidah Homes may assist with alternative accommodation when available.

Early Check Out

If a guest decides to check out early after a stay has begun, refunds for unused nights depend on the cancellation policy selected for the booking.

Extenuating Circumstances

In exceptional cases involving serious and verifiable events beyond a guest or host’s control, Moidah Homes may review cancellation requests individually.
