General Refund Principles

Refunds are determined by the cancellation policy attached to each booking at the time of reservation. The applicable policy is clearly displayed before payment is completed.

Once a booking is confirmed, it blocks availability for the selected dates. For this reason, refunds depend on how close the cancellation is to the check in date.

Cancellation by Guests

Guests may cancel a reservation through their Moidah Homes account. Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation policy selected for that listing.

Some reservations may qualify for a full or partial refund if canceled within the allowed time window. Cancellations made outside that window may result in reduced or no refund.

Cancellation by Hosts

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, guests will receive a full refund for any unused nights. Moidah Homes may assist guests in finding alternative accommodation when possible.

Early Check Out

If a guest chooses to check out early after a stay has begun, refunds for unused nights depend on the cancellation policy of the reservation and the reason for early departure.

Extenuating Circumstances

In rare situations involving serious and verifiable events beyond a guest or host’s control, Moidah Homes may review refund requests on a case by case basis.

Supporting documentation may be required for consideration under this provision.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used during booking. Processing times vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Moidah Homes does not control bank or payment processor timelines once a refund has been released.

Non Refundable Charges

Certain fees or charges may be non refundable as stated during checkout. These will always be disclosed before payment is completed.
